Upper Body

Our Upper Body class focuses on strengthening, building, and sculpting all major muscle groups of the upper body, including the chest, back, shoulders, biceps, and triceps. Expect a variety of exercises utilizing bodyweight, free weights and resistance bands to build strength, improve posture and enhance overall functional fitness.

Lower Body

Our Lower Body class is a high-energy workout designed to strengthen, build, and sculpt your lower body. This class targets all major muscle groups in the legs and glutes, including quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. Expect a variety of exercises focusing on strength, endurance, and power.

AB Attack

Our Ab Attack Class is a dynamic and challenging workout designed to strengthen and sculpt your core. This class focuses on engaging all major abdominal muscle groups. Expect a variety of exercises targeting core stability, strength, and endurance.

H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)

Cardio
Stamina

An enhanced form of interval training. An exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. Get yourself fitter in the shortest amount of time possible.

Colombo Spin

A seated no-impact workout using a specially designed bikes. Great fat burning workout. Suitable for all levels of fitness as you set your own resistance and work at your own pace within a group environment motivated by the class instructor.

Circuit

After warming up, these classes will include a number of different timed workout stations, using a variety of equipment such as glides, weights, skipping ropes, hurdles, and body weight offering a whole body workout. High energy, challenging and rewarding for all different levels of fitness.

Members can pre-book all classes by telephone or in-person.

Please check with the instructor that the class is suitable for your level of fitness. If you know of any medical reason that may affect you during exercise, please inform your instructor beforehand.

The Colombo Centre is a registered charity. Income generated from gym membership and hire of the outdoor pitches stays in the neighbourhood. It is used to manage and maintain the facilities and provide a wide range of free and affordable sports and leisure activities for families and children, young people, adults and older people in Waterloo and North Southwark. The community activities are delivered by local social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders. The Colombo Centre is run by the not-for-profit sports trust Jubilee Hall Trust.
